Board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Paul Paterson recently co-authored a study on long-term clinical results for carpal tunnel release using ultrasound guidance. The study was published in the Journal of Hand Surgery Global Online.

The study concluded that patients “report significant and clinically meaningful improvements in symptoms and function that are maintained at 1 year.”
