About Dr. Constant
Dr. Dustin Constant is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon specializing in the latest proven treatments for injuries and conditions of the foot and ankle. His expertise includes foot and ankle reconstruction, joint replacement, minimally invasive procedures, and nonsurgical treatments for arthritis, sports injuries, fractures, and deformities, such as hammertoe, flatfoot, and bunions. Dedicated to helping his patients get back on their feet, Dr. Constant joined Vero Orthopaedics in 2020 and offers personalized, comprehensive treatment plans designed for the unique needs of each patient.
Dr. Constant received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in biochemistry at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida, and completed his residency training at Yale New Haven Health System in New Haven, Connecticut, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Constant went on to advance his training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery through an exclusive fellowship at Coordinated Health in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where he learned state-of-the-art techniques and treatments for simple and complex foot and ankle needs.
As a medical student, Dr. Constant received numerous honors and awards, including the Dr. James V. Stelnicki Scholarship for Excellence in Lower Extremity Vascular Medicine. Since completing his studies, Dr. Constant has published many research articles in multiple peer-reviewed journals and written chapters for surgical technique books. Dr. Constant is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and he is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Constant likes to stay active outdoors. He enjoys playing golf, surfing, scuba diving, and fishing. He is also a fan of car racing.
