About Dr. Forest
Dr. Forest is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, and her medical degree from University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. After medical school, Dr. Forest completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Iowa Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation. She chose to further specialize and underwent a hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Forest is certified by and holds a subspecialty certificate in surgery of the hand from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
