About Gretta Starnes
Gretta is a board-certified physician assistant. She works alongside Dr. Erin Forest and is committed to providing the highest quality care possible to every single patient.
Gretta received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She earned her Master of Health Science degree and completed her physician assistant program education at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, in 2011. Gretta gained extensive, well-rounded clinical experience during 12 years as an emergency medicine PA. She began her professional transition as a full-time orthopaedic PA at Vero Orthopaedics in 2023.
When not working, Gretta enjoys spending time with her family (including her two potcake dogs), boating, fishing, freediving, spearfishing, and functional strength training.
