Dr. Mesa recently completed his rigorous residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the esteemed University of South Florida/Florida Orthopaedic Institute, where his exceptional skills and leadership qualities were recognized as he served as Administrative Chief Resident. His strong academic foundation includes a medical degree from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at the University of Miami and an undergraduate in Biological Sciences from Florida International University, where Dr. Mesa graduated with honors.
Dr. Mesa consistently demonstrated outstanding performance during his training, achieving remarkable scores on his board examinations. His commitment to the field extends beyond clinical practice, as evidenced by his active involvement in orthopaedic research and numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. This dedication to staying at the forefront of orthopaedic advancements will benefit our patients.
