Fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon Amber R. Morra, D.P.M., of Vero Orthopaedics, was recently featured on local news source VeroNews.com, where she discussed bunions.

Bunions, a common foot deformity that can cause pain and discomfort, now have newer, better solutions. According to Dr. Morra, you shouldn’t have to keep living with that discomfort.

In the article, Dr. Morra provides insight on the surgical techniques currently available, saying, “Technology has advanced so much that we’re able to use much smaller incisions now.” She adds that “your bunion surgery time is significantly reduced . . . and your foot can be weight-bearing the same day.”
