About Michael Saraceno

Michael was raised in Pinellas County, Florida. After graduating from Seminole High School, he attended Touro College in Long Island, New York, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in health science and a master’s degree in occupational therapy.

Michael has been a practicing clinician for 22 years, specializing in neuro-orthopaedic rehabilitation. He received his certification in lymphedema therapy in 2000 from Klose-Norton training and certified hand therapy (CHT) certification in 2004. Furthermore, Michael was a professor of occupational therapy for 17 years at Long Island University’s Brooklyn campus, where he taught kinesiology, anatomy, orthotics, neuro, and orthopaedic treatment courses. In 2019, Michael was certified in LSVT BIG® therapy for Parkinson’s disease.

When not working, Michael enjoys studying climate change, indoor air quality, and horticulture.
